 For those still naive about nature of the US state and it's foreign policy and the sinister and corrupting role of corporate power then this interview of U.S. Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson who served at the very top of the US war machine should leave them under no further illusions after listening to him. This video was posted on the Saker blog and he writes: U.S. Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson (Ret.) is the perfect example of what I call the “Old Anglo Guard”, i.e. the product of the pre-Neocon US Anglo imperialist culture. He completely fails to see how “his people” gave birth, so to speak, to the Neocon takeover of the USA. Still, he clearly hurts at the sight of his country, which he also sees as an Empire, going on its last leg. That pain makes him reveal a lot of things which he would never have said in any other circumstances. An interesting interview indeed.
