offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

The anti war movement should campaign on Nice instead of traipsing off down the country

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Wednesday October 09, 2002 00:51author by how to mess up a campaign Report this post to the editors

The anti war movement are diverting people from Nice campaigning traipsing off down to Shannon.

The anti war movement are preventing people from Nice campaigning by wasting time bring a small group of campaigners off to Shannon these few hundreds could actually make a real difference and be better deployed out leafleting working class estates. (horror). They could make a real difference in the last week of the campaign and get themselves huge media coverage on Nice debates on Radio and TV and newspapers, but they are the most useless anti war movement in the world probally, their last march must have been the smallest held in any country. Whoever deals with their PR should be changed ASAP as he/she hasnt a clue and possibly is swp as well, for only they could mess up a campaign with this much potential at a time when publicity is going a begging!

Shannon is important not just to opposing the war but also to getting the message across that whatever about the Seville declaration on neutrality the reality is that the Irish government has already got us involved in a military campaign.

Leaflets are one way of getting this message across to people (and I spent last night leafletting Drumcondra and this morning leafletting Tara st Dart with LAN leaflets) but action is another way. And Shannon spells out the reality of militarisation in this country in a way the politicans cannot deny. I'll be in Shannon, so should you!

ps
In the case of LAN its money rather then activists we are short of anyway. It looks like our 50,000 leaflets will all be gone by early next week.

Every one's a critic. bet you're doing sod all yourself.

Funnily enough, they will be voting on the NICE treaty in Shannon too, or did you not realise that people 'down the country' also vote?

We have to oppose NICE, with all its wrongs, but SHANNON is happening NOW, troops are coming through to kill people NOW.
That shows how worthless the Taoiseach's promises on neutrality are.

Sorry if it conflicts with your master plan, but hey, there's a war on. Didn't you know?

True, the advertising for the anti-war demo could be more effective, but leaving that aside, having a demo at Shannon is vitally important- this is where our "neutrality" is being directly violated- this is where peace activists need to be, hopefully disrupting all activities at the airport as much as possible. Seeing as the airport police can't seem to handle a few plane-spotters, a few hundred people marching should piss them off big-time and focus attention on the issue. Surely would be anti-Nice leafleters can be spared for one day so that the maximum number of people can voice their opposition to the use of Shannon as a US airbase.
And incidentally, over 60% of the population of this country DON'T live in Dublin.

A lot of people in denial above I see, and some shaky excuses too. Such as people live in shannon too, well more live in Limerick fairly near shannon so why not combine a march with Nice work there?

The Last week is vital, why not have he patience to go to shannon in 9 days time when Nice is over, Bertie and the boys in Brusells must love the swp and other mindless impatient idiots.

These tourists going off to shannon and ESF instead of doing the real work on Nice would not be able to find a working class estate, never mind haqving the desire to stay long enough in one to leaflet it. I also fully agree with the other self evident points 'They could make a real difference in the last week of the campaign and get themselves huge media coverage on Nice debates on Radio and TV and newspapers, but they are the most useless anti war movement in the world probally, their last march must have been the smallest held in any country'

Absolutely true, but its like the emperors new clothes (shush now)

damn right Aisling, the advertising is non existant 'the advertising for the anti-war demo could be more effective'

As for your other half thought out point 'And incidentally, over 60% of the population of this country DON'T live in Dublin'
You are half right, which is amazing all the same, but the obvious point is why are these buses not being used to campaign in the areas where many of this 60% of the population are not recieving any information from the No campaigns, even from Justin the turkey barrett. Can you people ever use some of your grey matter before you spontaneously leap in with a 'comment'

Nice to see the level of debate in cork is so high, I bet corkboy's anti nice work is equally good! And by the way I will be using this saturday to campaign in 2 or perhaps 3 Dublin and Wicklow working class estates that have been totally neglected by No campaigners so far.
