Thank goodness those lovely "mainstream" paramilitaries stepped in. If they didn't maybe those pesky extreme paramilitaries that nobody likes might have taken charge. Great to know that our popular local mainstream terrorist is taking care of our sex lives as well as the future course of the nation. Thanks so much for this really reassuring news jenny.

Great, the UDA strikes a blow against the renegades, the community rejoices and the PSNI once again shows it can't match the policing powers of good old sectarian gangsters.

I demand that the gardai take up the tactics of the UDA and start burning down any houses that are expected of hosting immoral activities.

working class community Paramilitaries are better than PSNI pigs in many ways. PSNI pigs are not known for their moral integrity, running the KINCORA and also Ballyutoag vice rings, for upper class brit establishment intelligence purposes. the brit establishment take the view that its ok, to run brothels/child vice rings, after all its only working class irish kids/wimin that they use to work in their brothels. MI5/6/FRU scum would never think of using their upper debutante socially superior hoity toity slone ranger snobbitches to work in their vice rings.
ordinary working class people do prefer the quick fix justice offered by community paramilitaries, rather than the inhumane injustice perpetrated by PSNI pigs, who not only give the offender a beating, but also drag them through the courts, thus the offender is punished twice and is also lumbered with a criminal record, that may lead the offender to commit further crime, being unable to get a job, due to having a criminal record.

Sorry Jenny, I believe I may have come over a bit sarcastic in my last contribution. This was in no way intended. After giving deep consideration to your well-measured critique of the hoity toity inhumane Brit pig scum snobbitches and the merits and integrity of paramilitary policing. (who, lest we forget, only punish/crucify once to stop offenders reoffending and thankfully don't dole out criminal records (God forbid!)). I realise that I was wrong. Yes it's true, the Protestant girls that I socialise with in my Foxrock West Brit circle aren't nearly as adventerous and those feisty working class northern lasses. Only now I'm concerned that a petrol bomb might land on my head/arse (depending on position) while hard at work in a seedy house of ill-repute. i dont think the burning down of the brothel had anything to do with any groups committment to morality.

it had become a security risk & an embarassment.

i'm not aware of pramilitary groups enforcing morality but i wouldn't be surprised if bible thumping loyalists were involved in such acts.

when it comes to gay rights, republicans have always been in support.

i remember as far back as 1981, sf making it clear that they opposed homophobia. indeed there was a lesbian/gay anti hblock group. the chief steward of the dublin hblock demos was a gay/bisexual ex pow.

the irsp from its inception supported gay rights.

in 1982,on belfast city council, peoples democracy councillor, fergus o hare proposed a gay rights motion. only fergus, paddy devlin, the 1 sf councillor(thats all they had then) & 1 irsp councillor (the other was detained at her majestys pleasure at the time) supported the motion.

I totally agree with dave dumbo, and king mobster. Working class paramilitaries, should not be able to govern what leesure facilities are available to rich and powerful pillars of society. How dare these working class peasants tell me, a cultured, rich, professional member of society where i can and cannot spend my leesure time and money. The professional class of people work very hard during the day, professional people such as ministers etc, who spend their day preaching to the general public, about family values etc, fine upstanding members of society, why should these same professional people not be able to relax and relieve the tension of their hectic professional lives by visiting brothels at night. The rich deserve all the perks and pleasures going, afterall these are hard working professional people.

Before burning them down, we should get any info on clients using the brothel, to blackmail them in the future, as the Brit security services are doing too.
