![]() a space for radical feminist, transgender, bisexual, and/or heterosexual women in the anti-imperialist activities that are to take place at the Summit in Copenhagen between December 13th and 15th. We are a forum centered in Copenhagen and composed of groups and individuals with a feminist, lesbian and/or revolutionary left-wing orientation. Our goal is to develop methods of revolutionary and anti-capitalist analysis in the service of creating a space for radical feminist, transgender, bisexual, and/or heterosexual women in the anti-imperialist activities that are to take place at the Summit in Copenhagen between December 13th and 15th. Our anti-imperialist tasks incorporate criticism of both imperialism and patriarchy; we recognize militancy as the natural form of expression in the radical left-wing movement. We do not use the neutral term of “globalization” to describe the imperialist structures we mean to attack, nor do we believe that our struggle against imperialism will conclude when the Copenhagen Summit concludes. For these reasons we do not wish to be part of existing movements that are addressed to males or to the masses at large. Our wish is to discuss how we are to carry on the anti-imperialist struggle from our positions as lesbian, transsexual, bisexual and heterosexual women, and how we might best coordinate our struggle to illuminate oppressive social structures. We will facilitate accommodations, vegetarian food, information in English, Spanish, Danish and German about the demonstration and activities that will take place in the city. We will also provide maps of the city, information about legal assistance, etc. During evenings and nights the Women’s House bar will be open and meetings, preparation of banners, film shows, etc. will take place. Any proposal for activities and/or films is welcome. Womens house |
