![]() Very biased article Not that anybody should be surprised and I shouldn't be giving that right wing pro Fianna Failure rag any further publicity. Basically it was going for the angle of the poor rank and file Garda only doing his duty and following orders getting done while the Garda management get off scot free. Maybe there's some truth in the fact that the Garda top brass seem to be getting off scot free while the rank and file Garda are taking the rap, but it's a very sloppy and pro Garda biased article overall. It also repeats the lie that there was a hard core of protestors determined to cause mayhem on the Reclaim The Streets Party, and that if only Garda management had have had the Garda Public Order Unit on duty that day ah sure everything would have been ok. The author of this muck was Stephen Rae or it might have been Stephen Hayes. I was that annoyed that I just left that paper on the ground. Would it do any good to write letters to the Evening Herald protesting about this piece of muck? |
