How Propaganda is beating Israel

Discussion on the proganda war on Israel since 1948.

Every few years the Middle East flares up in the face of the world. In 1948, Israel came into being dispite 7 arab nations trying to complete what Hitler failed to do, boasting that the butchery of the jews would compare with the Mongol massacres.

In 1956, 1967 and 1973 the Arab nations attempted to undermine Israel through military strength. When this finally did not work, they put in a gigantic diplomatic and propaganda campaign to discredit Israel, spending hundred of millions of dollars to promote and propagate the Palestinian cause.

It is rarely mentioned that one million Jews were expelled from Arab countries in the first three years of the Jewish States existance, causing a major humantarian issue for a country already struggling from the initial war for its existance. It should alos be noted the Jews superceded any Arabs living in todays Arab countries. The same Arab countries who sponsor UN resolutions rebuking Israel for "ethnic cleansing" and "being Nazis", who have no democracy, no free press, justice systems that still beheads its criminals without proper trials and treat women if not like slaves as second class citizens. No Western press can even report there unless it conserns the Israeli conflict, so it is not even possible to expose the cruelty and supression of peoples rights. In Israel by contrast there is nearly 2000 foreign journalists focusing minutely on every move Israel makes, and how they do!

The number of jewish refugees were nearly three times that of the Palestinian refugees; caused by the 1948 war which are so conveniently used by the anti Israel lobbyists. Let us also remember that these refugees would not have come into being if the Arab governments had accepted the UN partition plan of 1947, (UN resolution 181). Palestinian refugees are the oldest refugees in the world. How many refugees are still living in refugee camps after world war two?

The Palestinian lobbyists like to bring up resolution 194, 242 and 338 to rebuke Israel, when they conveniently forget that all these resolutions were flat out rejected by all Arab nations. How can Israel fulfill these resolutions when most of the Arab world still does recognize Israel's right to exist. How can peace and a just solution be found to a problem that should have been settled 53 years ago; if Arab leaders whose goals have been greed and power instead of what is best for their people and neighbourly relations.

The issue of a Palestinian State is the greatest lie and propaganda campaign instigated by the Arab world. They could not win the military war so they then turned to diplomatic war with the UN, and the gulible leftist liberals of the EU. In 1967 they created a Palestinian nation that has never existed in history. It is strange how before 1967 when the West Bank was under Jordanian "occupation" that a Palestinian state was never suggested or created. I wonder why? When Israel was created it was the underdog and most reasonably minded people identified with their plight, so the Arabs used this similar ploy to garner sympathy with world opinion by introducing the plight of the Palestinian people, which if one views history with any form of objectivety was caused by the Arabs themselves.

The PLO was founded in 1964, why did they not set up shop on the 1967 borders then? Now it is Israel's fault that they do not have a State. History seems to get twisted in this giant propaganda war. The PLO still retains in its charter; that states the destruction of Israel is its primary goal. In fact the return of 3 million refugees is given more importance by senior leaders of the PLO/PA than the setting up a Palestinian state, this is simple coded language for Israel's destruction.

The UN has decided to send a fact finding mission to Jenin to complete the international blood libel of the Jews, sorry Israel for the anti Isreali lobby who do not see themselves as anti semites but humantarians. Excuse me! How many fact finding missions did the UN send over when 470 innocent Israelis have been murdered in 8000 terror attacks in less than two years? Why has UNWRA permitted the refugee camps under their supposed control to become havens for terrorist activities and bomb factories. Israel has protested many times about this but has never made a press headline in any paper. The press seem to gloss over the numerous Red Crescent ambulances being used to transport bombs, weapons, terrorists and suicide bombers. They also gloss over the lynching of accused collaboraters with their bodies hung out in the town square. Where is the humantarian leftists on these issues? Oh yes, these are legitimate forms of resistance they spout. And now insult to injury the Irish are now implicated in the attacks on Jews as the booby trap bombs that are being used are identical to the ones the IRA have used in their terror campaign in Northern Ireland. Much evidence suggests their finger prints are all over the training of the Palestinain gangs. Thanks Gerry Adams, you are a real star!

I used to be proud of being Irish and living in America for 11 years never decided to change my citizenship. After reading the Irish papers for the last year, which predominately spew the anti Israel propaganda, along with the gutless Irish politicains and now finally with strong evidence of IRA involvement in the murder of Israelis, I will be sending in my American citizen application in tomorrows mail. God Bless America, the only country that represents freedom and the preservation of current democracies!
