I look forward to more hatred and destruction. More suicide bombings. More death, more destruction, more anti semitism, more Islamaphobia. More hate, bring it on. More rich, right wing cunts like yourself, dying from bomb attacks on posh cafes in wettern cities.

It is going to be great, because this is what people like you want. You wish to ignore the suffering of the oppressed and laugh at those who want to protest about it. Pious idiots are those people who protest about five year old kids being shot, by those in the pay packet of America.

Isn't that what a "human shield" is? A person who stands in between the combatants in effect stating that "If you intend to shoot at the people behind me you may have to shoot me first. I will place my body between you and your intended target as a shield".

Very noble, I applaud their commitment to peace. But not their bitching if they do get shot under those circumstances.

Please note, I have seen NO reports yet describing who or what these "human shields" were shielding at the time that one was shot. In other words, no report (from either side) that describes what was going on at the time. Have you?

It is most odd, that the media reaction to Human Shield death is now less shocking than the deaths of "North American passerby´s"

The weekend before the War on Iraq began a 23yr old Human shield was bulldozed to death, an american woman, and did the White House care?

they did not care. The great thing is, you don't have to care either. Enjoy the show I was speaking of earlier, it's gonna be fun. All suits anmd shites will all be blubburing "Boo! Hoo!". Dead Gardai, more planes falling out of the sky, Sep11 will be like a kids day out in Norway. Israel will become the biggest crematorium since Auschwitz, Socialism will be a reality because we'll all be living like the Flintstones, except for the Super rich, they will become colonizers of space.

Believe it or not, I am very happy. I feel happy if someone does something nice for me, but I also feel happy when I hear the likes of Eoghan Harris on the air, swank journos paid for by the elite, so the elite can go on believing their own delusions. It's great, when I hear Harris speak, I hear the death knell of corruption. I'm an optimist, albeit it took me a while to get here, it will probably take the blood of a few thousand more Palestinian children, all this creates anger, which will mean somebody far more psychotic than I will leave Eoghan Harris, fat bastard O' Conner, and other dupes swinging from lamposts... ;0) So smile, revenge is around the corner. Like Rachel Corrie, there is no conclusive evidence whatsoever that the death of Mr Avery. In fact, there was a firefight going on, so it is entirely possible that the bullet that killed him was not Israeli. This being the case, the headline of this thread is inflammatory and misleading, and, as such, seems to be motivated by nothing other than hatred.

as always Avis got it wrong. the american in question wasn't killed but seriously injured. He was prevented for one hour from being brought to hospital and then later for more time before being rushed by helicopter to an israeli hospital. there doctors have refused to inform him of the gravity of his injuries nor of the caliber of bullet fragments removed from his jaw and cheek bones. I assume this is because their information would confirm what he and his pal who was with him know to be the case, that he was purposely targeted by the israelis who knew who they were firing at. Israeli claims that there was a 'gun battle' going on have been rubished by everyone who was present.

Eyewitness reports maintain that Brian Avery and his Swedish companion ventured out during curfew when they heard shots coming from Jenin city centre. they came upon 2 armoured personel carriers at a juncton near their apartment. they identified themselves from 50 metres away and stood with their arms raised clearly visible to the crews. one of the gunners opened fire with a mounted machine gun, firing at the ground in front of them. Brian was hit by shrapnel in the face and badly wounded. Israeli army regulations strictly prohibit the firing of warning shots from mounted machine guns insisting that warning shots be issued from handheld weapons. Furthermore the regulations prohibit firing warning shots towards people.

Immediately following the shooting the 2 vehicles rolled by the prostrate american and continued on, presumably hunting their next victim.

if more evidence is needed this incident just illustrates the criminality within the criminality of the occupation.
