![]() The war that 'is over' just keeps killing Two US soldiers have been killed in separate incidents in Iraq and 11 more injured in an explosion on a warship in the Gulf , in the past two days. The media are working hard to keep the focus off such signs of a failing "war" in Iraq .
A Marine was shot dead by a civilian who walked up to him on a bridge in Baghdad. The assailant then ran away. US Central command told ABC news they knew nothing of the incident! A US Humvee vehicle hit a culvert bomb, or "probable land mine" as the US called it, near Saddam International Airport yesterday killing at least one marine. The US and UK occupation forces are under daily attack across Iraq and the frequency of the attacks is growing as the Iraqis get the size of the invaders. Our media however has decided to sideline such stories as they do not fit in with "we won the war". Saddams latest tape also has Washington in a spin as the Ace of Spades himself claims "victory is close"! He, the Ten of Clubs, the Six of Diamonds, a Royal Flush , Barney the Dinosaur and Mata Hari are said to be moments from death according to Col Major Sergent Bill "Bubba" Kapowalowski of the 22nd Division of the 16th armoured troop of the advanced commando Delta Force in Doha. "We'll liberate those bastards or my name ain't Bubba" , said Bill quickly checking his dog-tags. http://abcnews.go.com/wire/World/ap20030508_1096.html http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/05/08/1052280379814.html http://www.sunspot.net/bal-ed.cheney08may08.story
