We're a week away from the most painful Budget in history thanks largely to the eye-watering cost of lockdown. Yet Baroness Hallett says next time the Government must be ready to go harder and faster. This is insanity.

offsite link Taxpayers Are Charged for the BBC Whether They Like it or Not Sat Nov 22, 2025 11:00 | Charlotte Gill
It's bad enough that all UK TV users are forced to fund the BBC via a TV licence. But it's worse than that, says Charlotte Gill: millions of pounds of taxpayers' money are handed to the corporation via backdoor channels.

Suicide Terrorism comes to the British Isles

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Friday May 09, 2003 13:34author by Avi H. Report this post to the editors

British Suicide Bombers' Relatives in Court on Terrorism Charges

There is now strong evidence that a suicide attack perpretrated in Israel, in which three innocent people were killed and seventy injured, many of them so seriously that they required limb amputations and/or will be cripples for life, was carried out by two men with British nationality. Not only, this but it looks as though the atrocity may have been partly planned and organised from the UK.
