offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

The BBC's Director of Comedy wants to "save the sitcom". But the sitcom is only endangered because most of them stopped being funny. As To the Manor Born reminds us, British comedy has lost its class, says Finlay McLaren.

Iraqi Resistance "brings it on" for Bush

category international | anti-war / imperialism | news report author Friday July 04, 2003 10:44author by James McKennaauthor email jimmymac61 at hotmail dot com Report this post to the editors

US soldiers being raked in Iraq

After Georges taunt to Iraqi Resistance to "bring it on", new aspects to the daily killings and attacks of US and British soldiers have emerged to further cofirm the depth of the dung in which the US military are standing.

Attacks on Invasion soldiers in Iraq are now an hourly occurance. Grenades are dropped on them from bridges. Landmines and large buried bombs are regularly placed under roads. Snipers and rocketmen with an endless supply of RPG rockets await them on every corner. Inside their makeshift barracks, from which even toilet-roll holders have been looted, US and Brit soldiers cower as the latest threat, homemade barrack busters start to rain down on them.

It's not a rosy picture for the boys from the Pentagon. Soldiers who expected to be home as heroes by now are standing around with athletes foot and other natsy complaints caused by lack of hygiene, fatigue and months of extreme trauma and stress. They try to sleep inside dusty scorpion infested (by locals throwing them in) buildings that are definitely not designed to withstand mortar attacks and go on patrol amid crowds that are willing to tear them apart with their bare hands, given the chance.

A newly identified group, the Independent National Commando Front appears to be behind a number of recent attacks in the Sunni areas of North Baghdad. The group is highly trained and armed . Shia groups also appear to be eager to compete in proving their ability to rid their own areas of Baghdad of the Invader . As with all competition, it will benefit the consumer, the Iraqi people.

Add to this an estimated one million active service units of Fedayeen, all of which are self-perpetuating and independent with their own supply and support "community" and you have one "unsecure" country. Assuming the million or so Republic Guard and Army are willing, along with millions of young men and women, to join any of the above Resistance groups, it looks like George is going to get his wish to have it "brought on".

Of course gutless George Bush , who was hiding in a nuclear bunker in Louisiana when Atta led the attacks on the Trade Towers and Pentagon, is nowhere near where it is being "brought on", is he?

It must be enjoyable for you watching them die. Sick perverts.

You'd prefer if Saddam was administering 'justice' in Iraq, wouldn't you?

You red clowns always pick the losing team.

oooh, a bit touchy aren't we? James you seem to have touched a nerve with our resident pro-Bush stooges on this site.

Ladsoladsolads, James is only pointing out the facts here. Whether he 'supports Saddam' or not is absolutley irrelevant. And btw I doubt very much if he does. But if you think this resistance is about 'Saddam' (no no no it is, cos he made a tape the other day! - ahem) then what can I say only "just keep believing".

This will turn into an escalated guerrilla war, and most likely a mass movement somewhat similar to the Iranian revolution. However, lets hope that after whatever movement that forces the US out that what emerges is not a clerical state.

Say what you want about Saddam, but at least he didn't believe in religious mumbo-jumbo, unlike certain other 'moral crusaders'. Saddam was just a fucking bad man. But Bush/Blair/Bertie/Berlusconi and the rest would have us believe he was actually the human incarnation of THE DEVIL HIMSELF. (why is the devil a him? I thought all angels were supposed to be haemephrodites - even fallen ones) Hitler mark II. 'More Evil than Hitler - we have evidence to back this up' - where is the evidence, "weeeeeeell, you see it a country the size of california and it could take us quite a while to plant, eh I mean, find. About as long as it takes us to drain the country's oil reserves"

Go to google.com, type 'Weapons of Mass Destruction' and hit the 'I'm Feeling Lucky' Button for a mildly humourous surprise

You people are enemies of freedom. I know the type so well, after the 'mass popular revolution' comes Lenin. Stalin and death camps.

Guantanamo's a death camp, isn't it? Or are they building an execution chamber just to spend some US taxpayers' money to no purpose?
I'm really not noticing a lack of ruling class ruthlessness at this point in time. Even Lenin and Stalin regularly pointed to the suppression of the Paris Commune (1871), when captured Communards or suspected Communards were murdered by the tens of thousands and middle class Parisian ladies enjoyed walking around after their execution prodding the bodies of the slain with their parasols.
Lenin and Stalin warned that if the Bolsheviks were overthrown, the counter-revolution would be just as ruthless as the Versailles supporters had been in 1871. Maybe Lenin and Stalin learned the lesson too well.
There may be few in history more ruthless than a ruling class determined to stay a ruling class and continue to enjoy the wealth and power that goes with that status.
