Read what happened when an Extinction Rebellion meeting was disrupted by a protester. Seems they can give it out but have no intention of putting up with it themselves.

Between lines commentary on Irish Times Irish headlines of the day (obfuscated truth seeping thru)

category national | arts and media | opinion/analysis author Wednesday July 27, 2005 03:08author by samizdat fan Report this post to the editors

So much obfuscation present that I was forced to give most of them one line each. A few left out - feel free to find them and nail in a sentence.

"Appeal by Minister in Blasket ferry row"
Privatising of Islands is in full Coillte style swing.

"Court rules out challenge to Shell planning permission"
All Challenges to Shell in Ireland are now by defenition Illegal.

"Shell blames 'ongoing protests' for 35 lay-offs in Mayo"
Shell put innocent people in prison through lies and as a result of public opposition to this there will be 35 workers on lousy insecure contracts shafted.

"Dairygold plans €100m complex for Mallow"
The idiot wind of pathalogically overcompensating 'gimme it all and gimme it now and fuck society and the environment I'll be dead when oil runs out' FF generation brought up in the harsh 1950's economic climate continues to blow strongly.

"Meath land rezoned despite warnings"
Idiot wind at full throttle in Meath.

"Pool lease blatantly breached, court told"
Truth hides in plain sight but no-one will be helld responsible as they're businessmen and they don't do responsible in Ireland"

"Court decision will not affect inquiry"
Meaningless courtcase adjourned means that Rossiter enquiry will convieniently for many not be held in public .

"Stress will be main cause of workplace illness by 2020"
A healthy non-overworked non-overcommuting society would take pressure off hospitals and doctors (and vast majority)

"Cullen says cameras will make buses in Dublin safer"
IT fails to ask Mr. Cullen to answer the basic question of who will operate and monitor output from the self same eight cameras per bus.

"Labour Court referrals up 21% last year"
Construction companies will ignore workers basic rights goodo if let.

"Crisis pregnancy body had busiest year for information requests / 11-year-olds getting pregnant 'a child-protection issue" (Two for price of one alcopops special)
Whatever the government do about problems that are caused by rampant and unprecedented alcohol consumption by the young will not involve mention of or interference with the drinks industry and VFI.

"McDowell says IRA must end criminal activities"
Irish times allows Minister to repeat himself endlessly again.

"Unit to oversee State partnerships"
Corporate States have no need for units to contribute to exccellence in public services.

"Oireachtas committees 'grounded' by lack of funds"
Corporate States have no need for politicians to contribute to exccellence in public representation.

"'Anger is a useless emotion but I get so frustrated'"
Health servces have become an absolute lottery for the majority working poor and Harney is making hay out of public's horror by building hospitals for the rich.

"CULLEN: airline memo "ill- judged"
Country: Cullen is Ill judged period.

"Galway welcomes political heavyweights"
Pay at entrance to tent for entry to great insider privatisation of everything giveaway.

11 year olds getting raped by their fathers (or similar figures) may SHOCK HORROR have NOTHING to do with underage alcohol consumption.

Though I take the original point, but it's not the only issue.
