Nuachtán laethúil ag teastáil ó phobal na Gaeilge

category national | arts and media | press release author Monday July 03, 2006 15:52author by Ciarán Ó Brolcháin - Na Gaeil Ógaauthor email nagaeiloga at gmail dot comauthor address 10 Sráid na Mainistreach Íochtarach, BÁC 1 Report this post to the editors

Cuireann Na Gaeil Óga fáilte roimh chinneadh Fhoras na Gaeilge maoiniú suntasach a chur ar fáil d'fhoilseachán nuachta laethúil. Agus an próiseas measúnachta ar siúl i láthair na huaire, áfach, is cúis imní do Na Gaeil Óga gurb é foilseachán nuachta laethúil a luadh ar fhógra an Fhorais in ionad nuachtáin laethúil.

NUACHTÁN LAETHÚIL AG TEASTÁIL Ó PHOBAL NA GAEILGE

Cuireann Na Gaeil Óga fáilte roimh chinneadh Fhoras na Gaeilge maoiniú suntasach a chur ar fáil d'fhoilseachán nuachta laethúil.

Agus an próiseas measúnachta ar siúl i láthair na huaire, áfach, is cúis imní do Na Gaeil Óga gurb é foilseachán nuachta laethúil a luadh ar fhógra an Fhorais in ionad nuachtáin laethúil.

Arsa Ciarán Ó Brolcháin, LeasChathaoirleach Náisiúnta na nGael Óg, "Cé go soláthraíonn roinnt foilseachán ar fud na tíre forlíontaí fiúntacha Gaeilge, creideann Na Gaeil Óga gur céim siar a bheadh ann dá dtabharfaí infheistíocht d'fhorlíonadh laethúil seachas do nuachtán iomlán Gaeilge. Tá próifíl na teanga ardaithe go mór sa ghnáthshaol laethúil agus is tábhachtach an ról atá ag nuachtán laethúil na Gaeilge san fhorbairt sin.

"Tá Gaeilgeoirí óga na hÉireann cleachta anois le nuachtán laethúil ina dteanga féin, é mar ghné lárnach de shaol nua-aimseartha phobal na teanga. Agus tíortha eile mar An Bhreatain Bheag spreagtha ag rath nuachtáin mhionteanga anseo in Éirinn, ní féidir ach leanúint leis an fhiontar
ceannródaíoch nuachta seo."

Chríochnaigh sé, "Leis an infhéistíocht agus an mhargaíocht chuí, is cinnte go n-éireoidh níos fearr arís leis an togra is leithlí i saol na meán cumarsaide Éireannach. Tá súil ag Na Gaeil Óga go ndéanfaidh Foras na Gaeilge an cinneadh ceart, cinneadh a bheas ar leas phobal na Gaeilge agus a chinnteoidh go mbeidh nuachtán laethúil Gaeilge á léamh ag na glúine atá romhainn."
