Church leaders are too quick to condemn Tommy Robinson and the Unite the Kingdom march, says Chris Larkin. We don't know what Jesus would have made of our politics, but we can?t just assume he?d have been a Lib Dem voter.

Gardai were called by him and went in to the circus. When we saw 2 Gardai cars arrive we set up our leafletting and banners .Gardai left with the Indian guy having obviously taken statements etc. When 7-30 arrived we realised that only 10 people had gone in to the big top. No cars outside at all and the elephant trainer Alexander Scholl (who attacked the two during the week) was livid. The circus was like a ghost town.!
Possibly the media during the week had put people off, we hope so.

However the campaign to help Max and all the other animals held by these thugs continues.

there were 3 activists on Saturday as well, they handed out leaflets for about 2 hours but due to the minimal audience (of the circus) they decided to leave back to the city
