Flotilla power
Sadly the Australian public is not aware of the toxic cyanide spills causing environmental destruction and poisoning the sea and humans in the Lafayette gold mine in the Phillipines. Major sponsor ANZ bank is one of the top 5 Australian banks, and their latest television advertising campaign strangely omits mention of cyanide poisoning off shore. Major newspapers are silent too, only Greenpeace supporters are given freedom of the press. Thank heaven for Irish indymedia!
