Armed Ambitons // Organised Ideas was started a few years ago when the first communique was released to the unknown audiences in the form of Organised Ideas , a Diy gig Promotions that has put on many gigs , some of them benefits for such things as Shell 2 Sea , Indymedia and The Brains Collective . Since then Organised Ideas has merged with Gz collecitve to become apart of The Porco Dio collective as well as still working on its own . The other side of the project is Armed Ambitions which is an independent record label and publisher . Armed Ambitions is currently working with a few different bands from varied genres . The whole project takes its inspiration from the glam rock of david yes david bowie and the diy ethos of crass in a world wind of mind blowing proporitons .

Pounding and complex with ever evolving rythms and an amazing live show, the only thing that over shadows these guys is how much fun three friends can have while tearing it up.

Expect sythny off kiler math fueled fun. Not a million miles from Batlles, Sweep The Leg Johnny or a stripped down, raw, Mins The Bear.

Started as a solo project then i got three of the best musicians i know to play and write with me, we started last week and wrote "for one night only" recorded it at our third practice and hope to be giving it, and more, to you live very soon! Featuring members of Kidd Blunt .

Laminate

Laminate formed in Wexford in 2003, initially acting more or less as a side-project for singer/guitarist Derren Dempsey and singer/drummer Marc Hillis, both of whom were active members in other bands at the time. Having played around the local dives a few times however, Derren, Marc and then bassist Lee Byrne felt a surprising buzz about the band, and decided to leave their respective bands to concentrate purely on Laminate. They recorded a three track demo in Grouse Lodge (famed for having hosted Muse & The Manic Street Preachers among others) which was well received by Kerrang! Magazine, and received an impressive 9 out of 10 in Rock Sound Magazine.
