(does no-one get the bad hairs days anymore?????)
c, no need to get defensive... i was just making a correction.
the name still appears wrong here:
"Eilean Ni Chuilleanin read six poems and translated for Julia Peria, who being from Madrid
and studying in Harvard"
i wrote her wiki, i should know :)
be well and thanks for reporting on this...
you would see that Julia's name is written correctly , there is also a link to her wiki page
and a few reviews of her recent book ' Conversations with Mary Shelley'.
Also in the report/article there is an allusion to the lack of reviews of Women Poets in the MSM.
i would particularly like if more women writers attended these functions and reviewed them,
info is obtainable from http://www.poetryireland.ie
So I put her name wrong in a comment which I had self-corrected, thanks for the correction!
Maybe you can add in some information about Julia and not limit yourself alone to criticism...
Correction: the poet's name is Julia PIERA, nor Peira.
Eilean ni Chuilleanan translated Ilena. Ni Chuilleanan also collaborated with Ilena on the
Book : 'After the Raising of Lazarus and other Poems'
Poetry Ireland translated Julia Peria's 'Conversations with Mary Shelley'
(ah sure no-one reads my threads anyway)
