Despite the efforts of the Twenty-Six County establishment to sweep the upcoming referendum under the carpet, minimise interest and debate and hope for the best, activists across the state are doing a valiant job in attempting to get information out to the public.

On Saturday April 26, Dungloe will be hosting an information evening that will be open to all.

The following speakers will be addressing areas that are vitally important to the Irish people and will be detrimentally impacted upon if the EU manages to implement their Treaty:

Patricia McKenna who will be talking on the topic of environment and socities.

éirígí's Daithí Mac an Mháístír will be addressing the issues of democracy and neutrality.

Donegal independent republican councillor Tomas Pringle will talking about the effect the EU has had on local fisheries.

The details:
Saturday, April 26
Ionad Timpeall Chróín, Dungloe

This is excellent news. I was near to kicking myself because I missed the meeting as Gaeilge that was held in An Chrannóg a week or two ago with Joe Higgins, Dónall Mac Fhearraigh, Máire Ní Bheaglaoich and somebody from Sinn Féin due to family commitments, but I'll definitely get to this one.
