Simplistic linear thinking by Rachel from Accounts and the Treasury spawned this Budget from hell, says David Craig. A systems thinker would have known it would send the economy into a doom loop of recession and decline.

MAC takes to the streets.

category dublin | environment | event notice author Thursday November 13, 2008 11:37author by Gino Kenny - MASTACTION CLONDALKIN Report this post to the editors

Mast Action Clondalkin will be staging a March and protest from Neilstown shops on the 22nd November starting at 2PM.

In recent times an alarming number of residents have become ill and sadly some have passed away in the Ronan's Gardens area. Is this a coincidence or is it been caused by something else in the area?

After a report in the Evening Herald last year about high numbers of Gardai suffering from cancer related illnesses, residents of Ronanstown organised a series of public meeting on the issue of the high incidences of cancer in the Ronanstown area. Was it been caused by the phone mast in the Garda station, or a combination of the electrical pylons, which run through the North Clondalkin area.? We conducted a small health survey of the area, and presented it to the H.S.E to investigate our claims. There conclusion was inconclusive on the effects of phone masts and electrical pylons in area we surveyed. Meaning they did not know what was causing the illnesses. Our aim from the start of our campaign was to find what was causing these illnesses. We have done everything that can be done to highlight the issue. We have almost come full circle in the campaign. Now we are taking to the streets once more, and we hope you can join us in solidarity. Remember this just doesn't effect the residents of Ronanstown, it's effects everybody.Let them know. OUR HEALTH, IS NOT THERE WEALTH.

...of masts being dangerous. This is ridiculous. I'm sure many people in my area have become ill and died in the last year too. Maybe I should blame the electricity poles...? Honestly.......

And if you are stupid enough to put your hand on any metal structure during a storm, you deserve to lose it!
