Members of QUB Socialist Society were targetted by plain clothes PSNI detectives this morning while campaigning against the reception for the US Envoy tomorrow.

The two PSNI members emerged from the Students' Union building and 'cautioned' Socialist Society members for stapling posters in the area. On Saturday, a member of the Socialist Party was surrounded by three cops in the city centre who threatened to arrest him under the Prevention of Terrorism Act if he did not erase pics he took of a cop removing posters advertising the protest.

All QUB students should demand that the QUB Students Union and QUB withdraw their invitation to representatives of the US regime which has supported the slaughter of Gaza.

If you can get off work tomorrow, turn up at QUB Students Unions at 3pm and give the warmongerers the welcome they deserve!
