I got this story elsewhere, but it's a rich one. Sorry about the bad typing.... -decoy

> Tony the Taxi Driver

> 98FM and I commented that the talk show did my head in and I couldn't =
> bare to listen to it.
>

> Tony's story.
>
> He was relaying the tales from Court 50 from that day. The cops had =

>
> He was dropping someone off in Nassau Street. Another couple of people =

Seeing as people are always slagging off posters for cut and paste jobs, no one congratulates this person for writing up a real report.

congrats to the cabby and to the story teller.

'Ray' (if thats your real name) why are you not congratulating both the brave taxi driver and the storyteller for coming up with something imaginative instead of the usual cut and paste stuff on this site? Or are you just a negative moaner who only likes to moan to get a bit of attention?

I know the guy who wrote the original piece, and I'll thank him in person next time I see him.
But it is nice to see stuff posted on the newswire that is relevant to Ireland, and isn't simply copied from another news source.
(Is that congratulatory enough for you, KM, or should I send flowers somewhere?)

Hello,

I posted the article. I am not Ray or King Mob.
I got the story from ie-rant. I know who posted it there, but not the person who told the story. I figured it was a story that ought to be shared and enjoyed.

But as someone said to me, the taxi drivers are cunts most of the time anyway. Ironically they are some of the most racists people in the country.

I don't know what all the fuss is about who posted what from where. Stop moaning at each other, for fucks sake. :)

enjoy the weekend.

The fake King Mob is almost certainly the same person who posts as IST Supporter and coole boy. These identities appeared on Indymedia.ie shortly after the big fuss about a certain SWP member hijacking RTS.

Whoever it is has some reason to be online around 8am on Friday mornings, the only posts at this time were the two attacking Ray today and one on July 26th defending the SWP (posted as IST supporter).

Draw your own conclusions.

Unfortunately the only way I can think of to get around this is to have registered usernames and log-ins, which could be too much work for the collective to organise. I suppose the best thing is to take it as a compliment - only idiots would think its funny to try impersonating people like that, and I figure if you're annoying them you must be doing something right...

Actually we have been working on an e-mail verfication system (which is optional) which people can use. You can attach a e-mail address ( a web mail account) and before a post is verfiyed you recieve a mail.

This is an optional system, but it can stop problems like this. The system will be up and running before autumn
