Only the accents of the landlords have changed.
I cannot believe this kind of thing is happening here while the bankers get bonuses and the corrupt politicians continue to get paid ridiculous wages for implementing this kind of lopsided regime
Anglo Irish will never loan one cent to struggling viable businesses like the one mentioned in this clip, yet we bailed them out for billions. Something is deeply wrong here.
After listening to the broadcaster reading that out all I can do by way of response is to quote the Irish line of poetry:-
mor mo naire, mo chlann fein do dhiol a mhathair
(Great is my shame; my own family has sold their mother.)
Did the broadcaster comment apologetically after reading Majella's sad story?
This is the people's reward for hard work. How can those bailiffs and Gards hold their heads up? May the devil grab them by the back hair and shake them till they have a tender conscience.
They will do anything if they think they can get away with it; we already know their rotten hearts. All the Irish People's gas in Corrib Field that went for a song would come in handy.....
