category leitrim | education | event notice author Tuesday April 06, 2010 15:46author by wisewomanireland - Wise Woman Ireland Report this post to the editors

A weekend of learning, discovery, celebration and fun for women of all ages

In a world dominated by the masculine, this is a time to remember our heritage as women, to honour the feminine, to step into our power and be equal in manifesting a better future for our communities.

Join the 6th annual reunion of women on their journey to wisdom at the Wise Woman Weekend May 28th-30th, 2010 in Dromahair, Co Leitrim.

All events will take place in the transition town of Dromahair, 17km from the transportation hub of Sligo and in the heart of Yeat’s country. Dromahair is in the Green Box Eco Tourism zone and EU flower certified accommodation is available.

The weekend opens Friday evening at Ard Nahoo Eco Retreat under the full moon in the Wise Woman Mandala and closes with a Bealtaine ritual Sunday afternoon.

The weekend includes the ever popular Wild Woman Vegetarian Banquet and Open Mic Social, and a Standing Women Visualisation to save the world.

A weekend pass is €140. Gift certificates are available. All the details are at www.wisewomanireland.com. Or call Alex at 071 964 3963

The Wise Woman Weekend is a self supporting, not for profit event organised by volunteers.

The m-f transgender community of Cork welcome this weekend as an opportunity to celebrate again oneness with our wombed sisters. Though Cork to Leitrim may be a far distance to travel , some of us have journeyed further spiritual and corporal miles in our quests for identity . We intend to “be” at Dromahair this year ,and in this “being” bring hot colours and happening energetics to explore and share our mutual feminity .
