Minister Mad Proposals

category dublin | consumer issues | opinion/analysis author Sunday July 25, 2010 15:22author by Declan Cullen - None Report this post to the editors

Gormley's mad proposals need to be halted.

Its amazing how mad Minister John Gormley really is. He says that local councils can save 500 million euros in new reforms proposed that will affect vehicle owners. Its going to get so complicated and costly to own a vehicle in this state that most people will probably give up the dream of owning a car and content themselves with the fact that they will have to walk, or cycle depending on the distance.

Minister Gormley uses the mad intent of putting tolls on already paid for roads as a distraction from his other proposals that will see people paying road tax for vehicles that are off the road for repairs / non - us, and that are no longer driven because they are surplus to requirement due to the business having closed down, i.e, delivery vans, haulage trucks, etc, that also cannot be sold because of the recession.
He expects every driver in the country to sign up for a credit card (and pay 30.00 euro Government Stamp Duty) so they can pay their Road Tax online, if they don't know how to use a computer, tough.
He expects every person on social welfare to comply with the proposed plan to allow their local authorities to be able to deduct rent due from claimants payment before they recieve it, Creating another layer on control on the claimants payment.

This is the guy who campaigned to have Fluoride removed from the nations water supply, but now that he's in power has developed massive amnesia, and now wants the nation to pay for the same water he condemned, on camera, pre - election.
These, along with other mad revenue raising ideas are what were most likely discussed during the Government Pow - Wow with the Trilateral Commission in Dublin recently.

This kind of proposed madness is not just planned for Ireland, it is happening in the UK, Europe, America, Australia, etc. What has this to do with Ireland?, you say. Well the reason I mention this is that the same tail is wagging the various dogs wordwide, so when you see a new tax being proposed in another country, you can bet your bottom Dollar, or Euro
that Gormley Inc, will try to introduce it in this country with some stupid excuse attached.

These proposed charges will be used as a stealthy way of controling and limiting people's income, because according to Gormley, and all the other Gormley's worldwide, we as a developed nation, along with all the other developed nations around the world, have now to pay for the fact that there are nations in the world that are poor.
His plan will reduce our disposible incomes, due to the excess charges, taxes, levies, etc. And will also limit our freedoms and choices. Especially so if you are evil enough to own a car.

He is rushing to put all these plans in action immediately because he knows the jig is up, and that the people of Ireland have wised up.

The sooner this, howling at the moon, EU controlled, Government Minister, is kicked out, the better.

Hopefully before he and his cohorts drag us all back to the stone age.
