Eco Appz the company behind the app Eco Bulbz will be attending the two day event Working the Green Economy, which is part of the Convergence, 16th Sustainable Living Festival.

Working the Green Economy, which is part of the Convergence, 16th Sustainable Living Festival. The event is aimed at those interested in working in the green and social innovation sector. Companies who are looking to get involved in the Green Economy are also welcome to attend.

Eco Appz the company behind the app Eco Bulbz will be attending the two day event weeklong festival with events around the country for the week centred on opportunities within the Green Economy.
This start-up Eco Appz was established by Niamh and Daniel Pedreschi who have been involved in the construction sector working as electrical contractors since 1993. The couple recently set up Eco Appz in order to develop a range of energy saving apps for mobile devices.
The business was one of eight shortlisted as a finalist at the SEAI Sustainable Energy Innovation Awards as part of the Energy Show 2011.
The app Eco-Bulbz which was recently released on the App Store, shows you how much money would be saved when normal light bulbs and lamps are replaced with energy saving lamps and bulbs whether CFL or LED.
Niamh will be giving a presentation as part of the “Working the Green Economy” on Saturday 18th June, on how a small family run electrical contractor has diversified into the green technology sector.
