There is such a great focus in America on pushing the Latino and other communities to take this coronavirus vaccine, with which there are many problems. The mosr prevalent one being death. The others problems are not good either. I realize this may never bepublished, or shortly after removed. The immune systems of old people do not work as well as when they were younger and when faced with an infection the body frequently overreacts and generates an inflammatory response that does more harm. It is well known among medics that vaccines do not work as well in old people because of a weakening immune system. Call for change in Coillte Principal Objects as illegal felling video released Work stopped by residents due to recommence An environmental charity has called on the Government to change Coillte Teo’ Principle Objects to add ‘social’ and ‘environmental’ to its sole current sole ‘commercial’ remit. Friends of the Irish Environment released a video on social media over the New Years’ weekend showing residents stopping clearfelling of a Special Area of Conservation by Coillte Teo which was viewed more than 4,000 time over the weekend. The video, taken at Kilsheelan Woods in the Lower River Suir Area of Special Conservation, shows an extensive woodland area between the N22 road and the River Suir undergoing clearfelling. read full story / add a comment

Breaking news. A bit of good news for once. Julian Assange will NOT be extradited to the US to face trumped up charges. This victory should be taken with some caution as no doubt the authorities will try some new trick given that the reasons were on health grounds and the judge basically repeated the lie of all the false accusations made against Assange. There was in recent days rumours that Trump might pardon Assange and it is possible the Brits decided to not extradite Assange so that they could deny Trump this "victory" and yet they get to keep all the false accusations in place and may even create new fake charges for another go at it later. read full story / add a comment

State refuses release of 2020 images recording ongoing turf cutting on protected raised bogs Machinery at work on 28 protected raised bogs confirmed to Europe by Ireland The National Parks and Wildlife Service has refused to release images recording ongoing destruction of Ireland’s protected raised bogs during 2020. The request came from the environmental charity Friends of the Irish Environment [FIE] who first brought the activities to the attention of the authorities in 2009. The prohibition on cutting on 56 Special Areas of Conservation {SAC] protected raised bogs was due to take effect in 1998 but was not imposed until 2009. read full story / add a comment

The environmental charity Friends of the Irish Environment has called on Taoiseach Micheal Martin to clarify the Irish government's position in relation to efforts to allow the EU to subsidize nuclear power plants. According to a document seen by Friends of the Irish environment, several countries, including France, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic, want the EU to allow subsidies to nuclear plants in return for backing a higher EU 2030 climate target. Oscailt v3.9, the software used by Indymedia Ireland, has been released on it's SourceForge homepage and is available for wider use in setting up similar grassroot types of publishing sites. It runs on the PHP language and off the MySQL database. Oscailt is OpenSource software and is licensed under GNU General Public License (GPL). As with previous releases it comes with a basic installer and HTML Install and User Guide documentionation which are also available online. read full story / add a comment

The letter below was sent to the Egyptian Ambassador to Ireland, H.E. Soha Gendi, after a phone call to the embassy. The ambassador was not available to answer but her consul, Mr. Mostafa Mohamed Youssef, debated the issues raised and requested a written complaint. She goes there in honour after four friends testified on her behalf. It was announced on Monday by BillBoard the music industry website that Ticket Master is rolling out a system whereby you will have to prove you were vaccinated before you could go to any concert organised by them. Ticket Master control probably close to 60% of all concert sales in the USA and Europe. In other news it was announced something similar would be rolled out for attending Premier League football matches. What we see here is the full rollout of the Global Totalitarian Police State. In a very short span of time this will apply to everything from staying in Hotels, using AirBnB, travelling by plane, train, ship and bus. In fact it will be everywhere. It amounts to complete and utter control of each person. These vaccine certificates will be digital which means they are a way of tracking each person. You might think well sure, I will just take the vaccine but already the media are letting it be known, that the vaccine will wear off and you will have to get regular boosters. You will also be tested regularly. None of this is in anyone's interest. The question is why are they so desperate to do this? It is certainly about the opportunity to make billions, but it is more than that. Once you submit to total control like this, you are a prisoner no matter what they tell you. And who knows what on Earth they will be jabbing in your arm. One day in the far future, it could contain something to sterilize you or perhaps give you chronic illness.
