It isn't so much that the Tories are getting more popular as that Labour is getting less so. Which illustrates a more general predicament for the Tories and any other party that might have aspirations to government.

Obama threatens to invade Syria

category international | anti-war / imperialism | other press author Thursday August 23, 2012 13:44author by pat c Report this post to the editors

The preparations are continuing. This morning on the BBC news it was revealed that Obama is the going to use the chemical weapons as an excuse to attack Syria. Hes afraid that they may fall into the hands of Al Qaeda if they are moved, the same Al Qaeda that he is using as a proxy in Syria! In this article prepartions for war are covered. Yesterday US and NATO officials discussed plans for a US military invasion of Syria to bring down Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, after US President Barack Obama announced that the US was contemplating a direct attack on Syria at a press conference Monday night.

At a press conference at the White House Monday, Obama declared: “I have indicated repeatedly that President al-Assad has lost legitimacy, that he needs to step down. So far, he hasn’t gotten the message, and instead has double downed in violence on his own people. The international community has sent a clear message that rather than drag his country into civil war he should move in the direction of a political transition. But at this point, the likelihood of a soft landing seems pretty distant.”

The German military and related intelligence agencies are playing a far greater role in supporting anti-Assad forces in Syria than previously reported. On Sunday the Bildzeitung published a report on German army and Federal Intelligence Service (BND) operations on the Syrian border, where they are providing military aid to the Free Syrian Army (FSA)

Obama threatens invasion if Syrian Govt so much as move their chemical weaponry, however it's ok for the government of Bahrain to systematically use UK/US supplied toxic chemicals to supress it's peacefully protesting population.

Quote:
"PHR is calling on Bahrain’s government to immediately end all attacks on civilians and to suspend its use of tear gas while it conducts an impartial investigation of tear gas misuse and holds accountable those who have used the gas in excessive or improper ways. In addition, PHR is asking that Bahrain’s government disclose information about the toxic chemical agents used by its security forces, and that it permit scientists and health professionals to study the effects of tear gas use in that country."

We are being bombarded by constant and incessant lies by the mainstream media to paint the picture that the so called rebels in Syria are some kind of freedom fighters when in fact the opposite is true.

In this report from RT.com, it is reported that 12,000 residents in the town of Rableh near Homs in Syria have been blockaded for the past two weeks and have been experiencing a shortage of food and medical supplies. The residents say they could not leave as rebel snipers were shooting at them.

The report goes onto say:

After a two-week blockade the basic necessities were reportedly running out in the town because the bridges around the settlement had been blown up and roads were made impassable.

Snipers were waiting for those who thought about leaving the town in search for food. Those who dared to leave in search for food were shot at. Three men who made attempts to leave the disaster zone were shot dead, informed the charity’s representative Father Waldemar Cislo from Beirut.
