It's bad enough that all UK TV users are forced to fund the BBC via a TV licence. But it's worse than that, says Charlotte Gill: millions of pounds of taxpayers' money are handed to the corporation via backdoor channels.

suggestions.

for yourself and friends and neighbours.

Bush has declared a war which he saw fit to term a "conflict" [the conflict has begun we shall only accept victory]

This war is illegal.
All who have contributed and contribute to this war effort are criminals.

Goto the US embassy tell them.
do not email.
get the bus. knock on the door.

Goto the British Embassy.
do not email.
knock on the door.

Goto to the Spanish Embassy.
knock on the door.
ask them why has Aznar supported an attack on a country against the clear wishes of his people as expressed in demonstrations over three months that have seen an average attendance of 300,000 per city.
ask them why are 7 Spaniards still in Baghdad.
ask them why thousands of Amnesty International condemnations of Aznar have now today been signed.
Ask them WHEN WILL AZNAR RESIGN.
ask them what means "PAZ Y SEGURIDAD".
he has given his people members of the Mediterranean community terror in place of security and War in place of Peace.

Goto the Bulgarian Embassy.
knock on the door.

Goto the Italian Embassy
knock on the door.

Take pen, airspray, maskingtape and stencil, chalk, paint and write on their walls.

Take food eggs and rice and throw it at them.

They are criminals. Everyone has had enough time to decide their level of complicity.
All politicians have had enough time to protest this war or to resign.
All political parties have been left in no doubt as to the World's opinions on this War.

It is ILLEGITIMATE and the President who has declared is as well.

Write that Say that Do NOT LET ANYONE FORGET it.
65 years ago this week the first blanket bombing sorties were flown.

in fact I have been detained for a short while.
I advise who ever is detained by Spanish police not to say "I grew up in a democratic country" it is best not to make allusion to Franco.
Altogether arrests in Spain have been relatively low. The most are in Europe have occured in London. The global high is California.

Yesterday the offices of the PP (Aznar's party) were attacked in several Spanish cities. I presume the same is happening today.
The Catalan parliament is currently debating it's official response to the illegal invasion of Iraq and it's response to the humanitarian crises which the adminstration of Bush has presented the Middle East and thus the Mediterranean community.

The flags of Government and Council are at half mast.

Several Catalans are still in Baghdad where they went as "human shields".

Spraypaints a bit expensive.
Tin of exterior paint lasts longer.
Tip - if using a stencil, use a sponge to apply paint.

Less drippage !

Note - the vandalism factor of a sprawled freehand writing can add to the message.

Particularly on the buildings of those supporting the war who like to project a facade of civility.
