Vote Anti-War Candidates in the elections![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Richard Boyd Barrett, Chair of the IAWM said; “In an attempt to stop anti-war protests and other political events City Council officials in Dublin and across the country have implemented a ban on postering. The Irish Anti War Movement along with other groups organising the STOP BUSH demonstrations on June 25th and 26th believe the ban on postering is an infringement of civil rights. It is part of a wider clamp down on civil rights in the war on terror. It is part of a wider clamp down on civil rights in the war on terror. The STOP BUSH CAMPAIGN has registered as a third party in the upcoming elections. It is the first ever organisation to do so. This was done in order to get around the ban. We call on public officials in Dublin city and across the country to accept that STOP BUSH CAMPAIGN POSTERS are legal and therefore cannot be taken down. |
