First they were 'Asian' grooming gangs, then 'Pakistani'. But the most important thing to grasp is that almost all of them ? 87% of convictions ? are Muslim, says Mark Durie. This must not be covered up.

You will need to bring a sleeping bag and a tent if you have one. Bring a bowl, spoon and mug.
Bring money for food. It'll probably cost about 3-4 euro a day for food on the rural
convergence. Bring water containers-VERY IMPORTANT

EDINBURGH: We’ve got Café Clandestino cooking at the
self organised accommodation space in Edinburgh.
The Anarchist Teapot will be coming and
cooking with them over the weekend 1st-3rd July.

GLASGOW: Kaos Café are cooking at Create Summit in
Glasgow until the 1st July, then may move to the
Glasgow convergence space.

STIRLING: We have kitchens from the UK, Ireland and
Germany and some more potentials all ready to cook in
neighbourhoods on the Stirling site, plus another
large kitchen catering for the whole site/anyone not
in a neighbourhood and feeding extras, and one kitchen
doing cake for all! We think at the moment our
capacity will be about 5000+.

CO-ORDINATION: We are co-ordinating food ordering, all
pooling money and takings, and all charging the same
(50p for breakfast (£1 if it ‘includes lunch’, ie
we’re putting out bread and spreads for packed lunch),
£1 for a simple meal/soup, £1.50 for a fuller meal
(e.g. with salad), hot drinks by donation, and of
course, further donations are more than welcome! No
one will be making individual profit on this, in fact,
we haven’t got a clue whether we’ll break even.

If anyone else is planning to/wants to bring a kitchen
at this point now, please get in touch ASAP – we are
trying to coordinate this and it will get difficult
with less and less notice.

Donations of vegan ingredients for cooking are being
sought – any of the following would be useful:
- bulk pulses, grains, mueslis, breakfast cereals...
- tins of tomatoes, oil, vinegar, margarine, spreads
for bread...
- tea, coffee, soymilk, soymilk making machines...
- sugar, spices, herbs, salt, pepper, stock...

Please bring your own plate, bowl, cutlery and mug!
There won’t be enough to go around. Some mugs will be
available on a deposit basis.

Some travel info that might be useful to people not coming on the dissent bus.

You can get a bus from belfast to Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Stirling for £20 single £35 return (£18/29 five days in advance) with Ulsterbus... 2 buses leave belfast a day at 6.45am & 10.40am from the Europa Bus Station.
