Jump To Comment: 1 2The family of a young man found hanging in a garda cell have questioned the Minister for Justice’s decision not to grant funding for an independent forensic examination of his belongings.
His brother Larry Wheelock said: “After granting us funds to pay for independent experts, it was taken back. Now we are not waiting for a reply from the minister.
The case was adjourned by Dublin City Coroner Dr Brian Farrell until June 13.

The protest outside store st garda station was well attended hundreds of locals attended it.
The march proceeded down gardiner st and then on to store st. people on the street were very supportive.
there was a wall of flowers on the railings of the station.

Mep mary lou mcdonald and labour TD joe costelloe addressed the march also supporting a full independent public inquiry to establish independently of gardai just what exactly happened on the 2/6/05 to terence wheelock. so the family can get some closure and answers to these troubling questions. i wish them the best of luck!
