The sustainable lifestyle festival. 24th-26th July-Wexford Seanchas is planned for the 24th to the 26th of July. This 3 day event combines many aspects of sustainable living. Over the weekend workshops will be available, reskilling people in native heritage crafts and practical living skills, as well as educating them on the issues that face us as society today. We believe that by coming together, sharing ideas and skills we can initiate great positive change both locally and globally. Gates will be open noon on the friday. There will be an opening ceremony that evening with introductions, fire performers and music to kick off the weekend.

The principles of sustainability , promoting native heritage , crafts etc all touch the heart of those with a soul connection to our land. To educate and share this knowledge with others is a great calling. I look forward to attending the Workshops and sharing these wonderful experiences with you all. Everything sounds great from the workshops to meals to music sessions, really cant wait! :)
The Tara Solidarity Vigil will make a presentation on what is currently happening in the campaign to protect the Tara Valley as well as their vision for sustainable and eco living, a model of which is to be seen at the Vigil Camp, Belper Farm just down the road from Rath Maeve on the Hill of Tara. Thank you for inviting us and giving us this opportunity to share the story.

Thats great cos the Celt in the woods was cancelled for this weekend and this gives me something to look forward to :) It's a similar type of event with sustainable living and crafts etc. There should be more of this sort of thing! Thanks
Thanks for organising this and providing such a beautiful setting in which to enjoy the various talks and workshops. We had a really wonderful time there. On behalf of the Tara Solidarity Vigil, thank you very much and may you have continued success with this event in the future.
