DEI initiatives and woke ideology are not making workplaces friendlier but hostile to anyone not fully on board with them, writes Raquel Rosario Sánchez. "The pitfalls are not theoretical to me ? I?ve lived them."

Rishi Sunak has once again been dropping hints about leaving the European Convention on Human Rights. This is not credible, says Dr David McGrogan: such a feat would require a Government far more serious than this one.

RTE in Satire Shock

In a break from tradition, RTE Television showed a funny political sketch last night, raising doubts about the stations commitment to bore everyone in Ireland into emigrating.

The Taoiseach is said to be furious, and has been heard to remark that his "fucking sorrows have learned to swim", or words to that effect (or something- it's hard to make out what he was saying).

Enda Kenny remarked "what was that about anyway- I didn't get it", while Eamon Gilmore sent fraternal greetings to his comrades in the RTE Central Committee, while smiling and claiming not to know whether the sketch was funny or just peculiar.

Brian Lenihan was unavailable for comment (doing his hair) (again).

big controversy about this, I reckon FF will complain like they did about those paintings

Whats he complaining about? I thought it was quite mild. Halls Pictorial Weekly was much stronger than that.

FF realise that it's easier to have the papers filled for days on end with crap about how offended they are at personal attacks on individuals by x, y, or z than it is when they are full of information about how they are robbing the Irish people to bail out the banksters, dismantling, running down then privatising the country's infrastructure and mismanaging the economy. Brian cowan is the perfect buffer. Ignore the bread and circuses and demand real answers from the media and from FF.

They are such sneaky bastards that at this stage It wouldn't even surprise me if, later on, Lenihan has a miraculous remission some time after passing all these cuts on to the poor. Just in time to take over as leader of FF. Meanwhile he is managing to avoid most of the negative attention because he is sick. Personally I want concrete proof!! Well mr Lenihan, lots of people will end up with cancer that could have been avoided because of bad decisions you and your cronies took so I for one am not deflected by this. You are not any better than those people. Mark my words, don't be surprised if this turns out to be the case. You can't keep up with these cute hoors. People will fall for it all over again.

Oh yeah, RTE is sooo radical! Not! It has been decided by FF that Cowhead is going and all that is stopping him is the internal debate/drunken brawl to decide who will replace him. Now that he is down and on the way out it is ok to ridicule him and indeed a good opportunity for Cathal Goan's gang to appear radical and cutting-edge. Hall's Pictorial Weekly was way ahead of this limp wristed D4 tofu humour. Take the RTE heads to the end of the guillotine line.
