Irish company claims "Free energy" discovery

category national | sci-tech | other press author Monday August 21, 2006 21:26author by R. Isible Report this post to the editors

AFP/Yahoo newswire

For years people have been claiming to have discovered perpetual motion engines, "free" energy and other contraventions of the laws of physics as we understand them. An Irish company has now joined the throngs of utopianists and has "challenged scientists to test its claims"

I would expect like all other free energy claims this will be eventually disproved. Usually something like this will fall on something like the measuring equipment being not calibrated properly or some other loss or gain to the system being unaccounted for.

However, lets suppose it is true and the world suddenly has an infinte amount of energy at its feet to tap. Then what? Well actually it would be disasterous, because all sorts of mad stuff would be enabled and given the way society currently is in its destructive form on the environment, it would actually accelerate further destruction of the world's remaining ecosystems.

On a grander scale, assuming free energy opened up space travel, then what would happen is that the murderous and destructive nature of our immature stage of human societal evolution would be unleashed across the galaxy and put at threat any other living entities that might exist in the slightly longer term.

The Inventors, are a group of unemployable gang of Politicians, from Dublin, who have developed the miracleous free energy machine in Co Mayo, they are expected to make millions for their failed Political Parties, to be paid into offshore Bank Accounts, stretching as far as the Caymen Islands to the Channel Islands, and from Milan to the Gnomes of Zurich. The invention of this remarkable free energy machine is contested by a Group of upstarts from all over the Republic of Erin, who claim that they have the Rights to this Free Energy Machine First, and have the Original Patent to Prove their Case. It is expected to go to Court for a Ruling by Eires top Judge , Mr Merino, known for having more wool inside his head , than on it ! We will keep the readers fully informed on the outcome of this remarkable Free Energy Machine. FlynnOFlynn.

By the time our goverment got it up and running it would cost us more than oil or coal ever did, and dont upset the ESB for christ sake, dont be talking about sea energy or wind. If you burnt all the brown envelopes and and combind it with the goverments hot air we would have loads of energy. Shit I should not have said that I will be taken off the dole again.

Not as far-fetched as you might think -
"British scientists claim they have invented a revolutionary device that seems to 'create' energy from virtually nothing"
