it's with regret that I have to cancel the upcoming (photo exhibition) fundraisers planned for the 28th August and 5th September.

Looking at things realistically, the amount of funds needed (over €2,000) for the project is too much to raise in such a short space of time, and with that in mind, it wouldn't be fair to ask people for any more of their time and cash.
I would like to return any one-off donations we recieved and am open to suggestions of charities that could benefit from the remainder of the funds. The total received to date is €417.
I'd like to thank you all for your efforts, whether it was your generosity, time, advice etc.

Amnesty International documents the 20th anniversary of the massacre of prisoners in Iran. It notes that no one has been held accountable for this atrocity. Full text at link.

Twenty years after the then Iranian authorities began a wave of largely secret, summary and mass executions in September 1988, Amnesty International renews its call for those responsible for the “prison massacre” to be held accountable. There should be no impunity for such gross human rights violations, regardless of when they were committed. read full story / add a comment
