Brian Basgen who has worked on the site since 1990, says that ,since January , there have been hundreds of attacks ,99 percent of which emanate from China . As a consequence , the MIA may be forced to sacrifice its Chinese language material to keep the rest of the archive open . Although the attacks have only targeted Chinese files , security experts say that Chinese machines can be exploited by people outside the country, making the attacks appear to come from China . read full story / add a comment ![]()

Today in Brussels representatives of the belgian people (Attac, Onzezeg, Notremotadire, CAP ao.) burried the Lisbon Treaty at the bourse in the centre of the Europeen Union. People of Europe want their say on the EU.They want the referendums to be respected; This Treaty is not democratic and not protecting our social security. The non democratic way the EU is constructed over our heads is getting dangerous for our freedom and democracy our parents fought for!. The policy of EU treaties, the European Commission, is to commercialise public services. Flowing from competition policy, the commission forces state providers to compete with private companies in the supply of public services. What will become the poor or week citicen in this junglefight? These liberal EU strategies have led us to the recent global financial crisis which will not stop: 80 % of our national laws are dicted by the EU. More actions will follow this week. read full story / add a comment |
