The second outing of the literary festival, 'The Forge At Gort,' will take place in Gort, Co. Galway, on March 27th and 28th, 2009, organised by The Western Writers' Centre, Ionad Scribhneoiri Chaitlin Maud, Galway. Last year saw the inauguration of the festival, which is based in the concept of the W.B.Yeats' poem which mentions the still extant forge in Gort's main street. The entire media seems to be singing in unison on one of the biggest potential movements of public funds into private hands. And it looks like they might get away with it too. surely there's a better way? Here's one suggestion I came up with in all of 5 minutes to get the ball rolling.
